Free Documentary Screening Presented by Tamarack Grief Resource Center
What’s Killing America’s White Men?
Join Tamarack Grief Resource Center for a screening of the BBC London documentary What’s Killing America’s White Men? Thursday, Sept. 12, 7pm.
In 2018, India Rakusen of BBC London visited Montana, where suicide rates are double the national average, to find out what drives so many to despair. The documentary features the Jennie LaBuhn family and their story of suicide loss and healing.
This screening will be followed by a panel of community members, including Jennie LaBuhn, highlighting the work being done to create a suicide-safer Montana.
Guests are invited to gather at the new Roxy Lounge (next door to The Roxy Theater) from 6-7pm for connection and to learn about local resources. Viewing will begin at 7:00pm at The Roxy Theater, followed by the panel 7:30-8:00pm.
This event is free to the public as a gift to the community from Tamarack Grief Resource Center in honor of Suicide Prevention Month. Donations appreciated.
